We are already working with a brilliant team of people to help make our project a success. As we progress, we hope to introduce them to you here. In the meantime, you can find below details of our core team.
Daniel is a commercial pilot with extensive experience flying everything from helicopters and light aircraft to commercial airliners. Working for a major European airline, he thoroughly enjoys his roles as Line Training Captain and Boeing Type Rating Instructor and Examiner.
Outside of work, he enjoys travelling - utilising every mode of transport from light aircraft to motorbikes and crummy cars - as well as photography and even a little writing. He is married to Jen.
Jen is an experienced graphic designer and brand expert with a coffee addiction and a love of animals. Due to a “in sickness and in health” contract she signed with Daniel several years ago, she now finds herself obliged to assist in her husband’s hare-brained schemes. She is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and experience with aeronautical engineering, whilst also managing the project’s social media. During the trip, her role will include the provision of logistical support.
Moose graduated from Barking College in 2018 and is our resident avionics expert. He is currently completing a Masters Degree focusing on the Liveware-Hardware relationship in the ICAO SHELL model, and very much hopes to one day become a Garmin Ambassador. He loves long walks in the park, and any type of cheese. The Amazon Man is his sworn enemy.
Even at this early stage, we would like to thank Flylight Airsports for their support thus far. Headquartered at Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire, Flylight design and manufacture the Skyranger Nynja. Their knowledge, experience, and “can-do” attitude have already proven invaluable, and we wouldn’t be able to proceed with our project without them.
